  Good experience. Car rental companies are what they are. A bit of a long line in pick up but express drop off. There was some minor damage to the car. I reported it in drop off and the whole process was 5 minutes since i had bough the full insurance. I will not shy away from Record Go in the future. I have hade worse experience with some of the other big car rental companies.

  We have used Record Go car hire at Alicante airport regularly over the past 12 years without any problems. We have also found the prices very competitive and the vehicles in good condition. When we collected our recent rental there was no queue, the agent was very friendly and obliging. He asked what our preferred choice of vehicle was and the paperwork was completed within a few minutes. On returning the car the agent in the office in the car park was equally friendly and helpful. An e mail was received the same day advising the fuel and excess deposit refund had been processed. Good value and good service all round.

  Tried to scare me into taking their insurance, I took many photos of the car as I now know all these cheap rental companies look for damage when you return the car. Upon returning the car the girl behind the desk told me all was fine with the car, a day later I received an email saying there was slight damage to one of the alloy wheels, and stole €100 from my credit card. They tried to do the same thing to me last year for €400, they didn't realize I live in Spain not far from the airport, after receiving a photo of the supposed damage, I printed it and took it to their rental desk, and asked the staff to point out the damage, they couldn't see it. Eventually I got my money refunded.

  Cannot fault them. Used their services for 2 weeks period at the beginning of October. Car was new, cost me 170e for nearly 2 weeks rental. Yes, there's a deposit of 700e but its all clear once you read T&C. Staff was pleasant and informative. Oh, unused fuel and deposit were both refunded within 24hrs after the car was returned. Recommend them strongly.

  I have to say as a regular renter ALL these seemingly cheap car hire companies try to do the same thing, The only good reviews you will see are customers who took the Record full insurance at double the price

  THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T EXIST, NEVER GET A COPY OF THE CONDITIONS, WORSE SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN SPAIN AFTER MANY YEARS LIVING HERE, DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, LONG CUE AND TRICKY CONDITIONS...
